Trusting Your Inner Voice to Guide Your Life Journey

I remember that I was six years old when I first became aware of this inner voice that guided me through a series of instructions that years later I realized it saved me from being sexually abused by a neighbor that my grandma trusted for me to go to the store for when his children were out of town. Then I learned that whenever I didn’t listen to it… things were bad, I experienced disappointments, betrayals and few physical injuries.
What about you? Do you ever have a gut feeling about something, but ignore it, only to regret it later? That feeling is your intuition, your sacred knowing trying to guide you on your path. Yet with some many distractions and noise, it can be challenging to listen to your inner voice. However, when you learn and practice to trust and follow your intuition, incredible things can happen.
Well-known author and spiritual teacher, Deepak Chopra once said, "Intuition is really a sudden immersion of the soul into the universal current of life." This quote beautifully captures the essence of how intuition connects you to something greater than yourselves, guiding you towards your life purpose.
Another influential figure, Oprah Winfrey, has shared in various occasions, "Follow your instincts. That's where true wisdom manifests itself." Your instincts is the spirit within that when you tap into it; is a wellspring of wisdom and clarity that leads you with grace to your heart desires.
And because of this power that lies within you I suggest you to:
Tune in
Start by setting aside quiet time each day to tune into your intuition. This can be as simple as taking a few minutes to sit in stillness and listen to what your inner voice is telling you. Pay attention to any feelings, thoughts, or sensations that arise and even if you don’t get anything at that moment you have signal the spirit within that you are open and ready to receive guidance.

Journaling
Keep a journal to record any intuitive insights you receive. Writing them down can help you track patterns and gain a deeper understanding of how your intuition communicates with you. Reflect on these insights regularly to see how they align with your experiences and decisions.
Choose to Act
When you trust your inner knowing, you act on its guidance, even in small ways. Trusting your inner voice is like a muscle that needs to be strengthened. Start with simple decisions, like choosing what to eat for lunch or which route to take home. This small and seemingly insignificant action begin to build your confidence in your intuition. As time goes on you become better equipped to make bigger decisions with clarity and trust.
Remember, your intuition is a powerful tool that can guide you towards a life filled with purpose, joy, and fulfillment when you learn to use it and trust it. Make sure you exercise this inner knowing as often as possible resulting in strengthening your sacred knowing, and let it lead you on a journey in which your life flows with ease, grace and joy.
As always if you are finding yourself challenged with any of these powerful tools that reside within you; don’t hesitate to connect for support and remember to become part of our community
